Driving is one that comes first in the list of things I like doing the most. I like driving two-wheelers more than four-wheelers. Here is a list of vehicles I proudly own
Vijay
Super The first vehicle I ever drove, owned by my dad. The most balanced and powerful scooter every manufactured in India. Displacement: 150cc Stroke : 2-stroke Max Power : 9bhp Kerb Weight : Around 100kg This is the vehicle on which I learn how to drive in 1996. Now this black demon is standing due to unavailability of spare parts. |
LML
Nv Spl First vehicle I bought. The most balanced and powerful scooter every manufactured in India. Displacement: 150cc Stroke : 2-stroke Max Power : 8bhp Kerb Weight : Around 100kg This is the only other scooter I love to drive after Vijay Super. Bought this Metallic Blue beauty for myself in Oct 1998. This has got a excellent pickup. Better than lots of Indian bikes. Managed to do a 0-60 in around 8 sec and touched a max of 98km/hr on bombay-pune highway. I still love to drive it occasionally. |
Fiat
Premier Padmani This was my first car bought in 1999. Displacement: (if any one knows, please let me know too) Stroke : (if any one knows, please let me know too) Max Power : (if any one knows, please let me know too) Kerb Weight : (if any one knows, please let me know too) Thanks to this car that I managed to learn how to drive a car. But it was this car due to which I started to hate driving a car. Right now this car is standing in garage, waiting for it faith be decided. |
Suzuki
Fiero My dream bike. Bought it when my dad decided to take back NvSpl from me, for himself. I possessed this black rocket on 6th Jun 2000. First Fiero to go out from the dealer I purchased it from. Displacement: 150cc Stroke : 4-stroke Max Power : 12bhp Kerb Weight : Around 115kg I always used to dream of driving a two-wheeler at speeds in excess of 100km/hr. Which I never managed to do on my NvSpl (even though the speedometer used to show me 100+ but I knew that's not the true speed). So after I bought Fiero, knowing that it can take me beyond 100km/hr. I experienced how it feels to drive at speeds in excess of 100km/hr. Its an excellent bike and I have managed to do a 0-60 run in under 6 sec and touched a max speed of 108km/hr. On this bike I have managed to do some great journeys. |
Maruti
Suzuki Esteem Bought this second hand 1996 modal car from a friend of mine. This silver beauty is the car which again inspired me to start driving a car. Displacement: 1000cc Stroke : 4-stroke Max Power : 60bhp Kerb Weight : Around 900kg (not sure) I gifted this sliver color car to myself on my birthday in July 2001. Within a span of few months I have started to love driving cars. Touched a max of 130km/hr on bombay-pune expressway. It was first time for me to be driving any vehicle on road at such a high speed. |
Tata
Indica V2 (Diesel) Bought this car for my dad in Oct 2001. This black color diesel powered car gave me my first experience driving a diesel vehicle. Also this car helped me to find out how smooth a power steering is. Displacement: 1400cc Stroke : 4-stroke Max Power : 53bhp Kerb Weight : Around 980kg Thought a new car yet to explore it to its limit. Still managed to drive it at 100km/hr on bombay-pune expressway. Driving a diesel car after driving a petrol car not a good experience due to lack of punch in a diesel engine. |
